Giuseppe Zanotti drew inspiration from the graceful paintings of Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli for his spring summer 2017 women’s collection of
romantic, ultra-feminine shoes. In the men’s collection, the designer champions individual style and freedom of expression with a series of loafers,
sandals and sneakers that defy conventions.

Reflecting the heightened mood, light and colours of Botticelli’s paintings, the women’s collection is brought to life with muted, pastel shades, pops of vibrant colour and dreamy details. The result is a new romanticism in the series of stilettoes, strappy heels, mules, platform sandals and sneakers. Lush materials are used along with exquisite embellishments in the form of sparkly studs and butterfly charms. The same delicate elegance is expressed in the accessories collection.

The men’s collection is defined by clean silhouettes, the use of unexpected materials such as woven leather and washed silks in hues of warm neutrals, light khaki and sand, and decorative elements that add a touch of pizzazz. Thick yet lightweight soles form the foundation of the sandal and moccasin designs, while the sneakers are a nod to contemporary cool. There’s a utilitarian elegance in the ready-to-wear and accessories, where backpacks and messenger bags are crafted in special technical fabrics with leather trims and clean lines.
