Kate Spade New York Spring 2016 Collection

Lookbook | 25 February 2016

imagine the possibilities of spring. spring is the season when a shortcut through the flower district on 28th street or a pause in front your local bodega – bursting with roses and daisies and buzzing bees – can make us feel like we’ve left the city and taken the train to the end of the line.

in this collection you’ll find mixed and matched florals, ribbon stripes and light-as-clouds lace. the colors are inspired by fairground rides – carousel pink, alice blue, sunshine yellow, boardwalk beige – set against classic new york city black and white.

spring begins at the intersection of daydreams and day trips.

this spring, kate spade new york announces the launch of the Broome Street label, essential pieces that are intended to be mixed effortlessly with the kate spade new york collection, offering women more ways to wear the brand.

named as a nod to the brand’s first New York store in Soho, the Broome Street label is a casual expression of the kate spade new york design aesthetic and incorporates some of the insights gained from Kate Spade Saturday.

the Broome Street label will include woven shirts, everyday cotton tees, denim, casual cotton dresses and skirts, chunky sweaters and the brand’s ionic idiom tees and totes. The debut assortment also features outerwear including a denim jacket.

“We designed our new Broome Street label as a complement to our kate spade new york collection and Madison Avenue label; together, these pieces can be layered and mixed to reflect each customer’s personal style,” said Deborah Lloyd, President & Chief Creative Officer, kate spade new york. “The Broome Street label follows the same core values as kate spade new york: timeless, smart, confident, joyful, unique and fun. As kate spade new york continues its evolution into a lifestyle brand, we look forward to offering our customer a range of options to meet the casual, everyday and special occasion needs in her interesting life.”
