Michael Kors, the brand is known for its jet-set experience the concept of style and glamour while globe-trotting and airport-hopping. Addressing a group of international media in Shanghai recently, Kors said the idea encapsulates a luxury style. It’s about having a wardrobe that can take you everywhere. It’s about clothing and accessories that are glamorous and luxurious, but built for speed and fast life,” said Kors who turned up in his usual ensemble: jeans, a black T-shirt and black jacket. Kors was in the city to celebrate the opening of the brand’s first China flagship store at Jing An Kerry Centre. It was a glitzy event with personalities like Miranda Kerr, Hilary Swank and Freida Pinto in attendance. His work showed that there’s a way to combine practicality as well as glamour and luxury that works for everyday life. “An evening dress is luxurious but other luxury pieces in your closet include cashmere, cosy fur with crisp tailoring or a sexy jersey gown,” he added.
