Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion who believed in giving women the freedom to dare to be themselves. As a Parisienne who grew up in Egypt, she possessed a bohemian spirit that rejected the stiff formality of the time. She used the savoir-faire of haute couture, twisting it to create a modern and youthful attitude. Through the creation of soft, body-conscious clothes from fine, contemporary fabrics, ‘luxury prêt-à-porter’ was born.
Today, under the creative direction of Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Chloé continues to stand for six enduring values: natural femininity, free-spiritedness, modernity, effortlessness, sisterhood and grace.
