About the Role
Join our team as a Project Executive and be at the forefront of shaping our retail projects for success! From organizing project documentation to ensuring compliance of policies and procedures on projects, you’ll ensure smooth project execution from start to finish. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you track expenses and consolidate project costs, while your strong communication skills will facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders. With opportunities to evaluate and enhance project offerings, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving retail excellence.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Collaborate with estimate and purchase in the up-front set up of projects to ensure profitability, client satisfaction and the best contractor for the job.
- Formulate and develop contract terms with contractors.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of policies and procedures on projects.
- Attend and participate in meetings with contractors and project members.
- Prepare proposals for new projects.
- Organize filling and documentation for each project from start to the end of each project to be utilized for future usage and understanding.
- Ensure all stores maintenance are kept to date on costing and follow-ups.
- Keep track on expense reports.
- Consolidate expenses took place for each project.
- Address and resolve all billing issues.
- Effectively communicate relevant retail project information to superiors.
- Maintain effective working relationship with all suppliers, vendors, contractors, and principals to ensure successful project completion.
- Assist to assemble and coordinate project tasks.
- Enforce standard policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and redesign retail project offering in consultation with superiors.
- Understand the implication of different technical choices and is able to guide internal decisions to the best solution for the specific situation.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Minimum a Degree in Architecture, Quantity Survey, Construction Management, Project Management or relevant discipline.
- Professional Experience: Min. 4 -5 years of experience, preferably in retail, F&B or real estate.
- Personal attributes:
- To possess effective communication skills.
- Build and maintain good rapport with staff, government bodies and vendors.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality.
- Proficient in Computer skills and Microsoft Office applications like excel and project management tools.
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Sound financial awareness.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
- Languages: Fluent English and both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language is added advantage.
