While much of the world buzzed around coffee and trendy Java houses,TWG Tea worked to create its own culture with a luxurious but universal appeal to tea drinkers around the world. Products comprise of tea directly from source gardens with new varieties every season in collaboration with the world’s most renowned estates, as well as a collection of signature modern tea accessories. Then the brand upped the ante in 2008 by opening its first dedicated tea salon and boutique in Singapore. It was a physical statement of what the business was about a celebration of the epicurean versatility of tea wrapped in glamour and luxury. Offering a cuppa brewed to perfection in a luxurious atmosphere of plush chairs,great service including tea sommeliers,a curated compilation of orchestral music to enhance the mood and tea infused gastronomy, the TWG Tea Salon & Boutique soon became a lifestyle destination in Singapore’s iconic shopping centres. It has now since been exported to the likes of Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong,Tokyo,Manila and Jakarta.
