VGREEN RECYCLING CAMPAIGN (15 NOVEMBER 2023)
Since the inception of VGreen, and Valiram’s unwavering commitment to generate positive impacts in the organisation, on environment and the economy, we are delighted to unveil our newest addition – the VGreen Wall at Level 27, HQ Office.
The goals are to cultivate a mindful attitude towards recycling and waste reduction behaviour. Additionally, having a constant reminder in our office helps keep us alert and committed to ensure ongoing awareness and attentiveness.
On 15th of November 2023, we enjoyed a meaningful Upcycling session with Kloth Cares, getting an in-depth understanding on how unwanted clothes/ fabric can be donated, upcycled, or recycled into a new product. A mini workshop was held to give a first experience to participants on transforming old T-shirts into stylish Tote bags, with an option to add playful elements for a personalised touch.
Kloth Cares also had a booth offering upcycled products made from denim material for sale ‘Kloth Woman Up line’. The event marks the start of our long-term collaboration with Kloth Cares to address fabric wastage.
Besides that, VGreen launched our very own in-house Fabric Recycling Bin! Now you can conveniently recycle your unwanted fabrics by simply dropping them into the bin located at Level 27, HQ Office!
