LED LIGHTS CONVERSION IN OFFICE (10 MAY 2023)
In conjunction with the upcoming World Environment Day on 5th June, we are happy to announce that all levels in our HQ Office have completed the conversion to LED lights!
The use of energy-efficient lighting will not only reduce our carbon footprint, but also brings us closer towards being a more sustainable and environmentally conscious company. LED lights use up to 80% less energy than traditional bulbs, and last much longer too. This means that we will save money on replacement bulbs and maintenance costs in the long run.
Doing so will greatly reduce our environmental impact, including air pollution, climate change, water pollution, thermal pollution, and solid waste disposal. Apart from this, colleagues were advised to conserve energy by adopting practices such as turning off lights and air-conditioning when not needed, using natural light, unplugging electronic devices, utilizing video conferencing for meetings, and fostering a collective awareness of sustainable choices.
