VGREEN X WORLD VISION RUN FOR CHILDREN (7 MAY 2023)
On 7th May 2023, over 100 Valiramers laced up their running shoes and joined thousands of others to #runforchildren. The early morning run was flagged off at 7.15am by CEO of World Vision Malaysia, Terry Leong and Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports, Adam Adli while our very own Director, Dato’ Sharan Valiram graced us with his presence throughout the run.
As we strive towards being a sustainable organization that builds communities we serve, we also supported eat X dignity, who are an NGO championing holistic care and education for marginalised and urban poor children, to provide breakfast to our runners!
SPREADING AWARENESS
The charitable act by Valiram, has positively impacted the lives of children, living in some of the worlds most impoverished communities!
- We ran for a purpose – each bib carries a photo of the child who we were running for to uphold the 42 rights of children.
- We supported eat X dignity to provide breakfast for Valiramers & World Vision staff – money goes into helping refugee children.
- We promoted an active lifestyle among our colleagues to run for a good cause, and workout on a beautiful Sunday morning.
