On the 5th September 2023, we hosted our inaugural awareness talk and exhibition in collaboration with the Malaysian Energy Commission, marking their first ever collaboration with a private organisation (Valiram). The event featured three informative sessions:
1. Energy Efficiency Initiatives: These are strategies and practices designed to use energy more efficiently, such as upgrading equipment, improving insulation, promoting energy-saving behaviors, and meeting sustainability goals.
2.Sustainable Agenda Towards Decarbonization: A holistic approach for achieving long-term sustainability by reducing carbon emissions, which includes the use of renewables, enhancing efficiency, and implementing effective policies.
3.Electrical Safety: This topic underscores the utmost importance of safety in energy-related industries. It encompasses measures, practices, and education to prevent electrical accidents and ensure the well-being of workers and the integrity of electrical systems.
The event, which was live-streamed via Teams, attracted close to 80 enthusiastic participants eager to delve into the latest developments in energy conservation, the government’s strategies for achieving net-zero emissions, and their potential impact on businesses.
