Valiram's story began in 1935 with a daring leap of faith. From a small family-run trading company in Kuala Lumpur, founded with little more than ambition and resilience, the seeds were sown for what would become one of Asia Pacific's most dynamic and respected luxury retail groups.

Built on a foundation of courage, grit, and entrepreneurial vision, Valiram expanded from trading into duty-free retail in the 1970s. A bold new chapter unfolded in 2001 with the launch of Flying Emporium at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)—a luxury multi-brand concept store that redefined travel retail in the region.

Over the years, the Group has grown to represent some of the world’s most iconic names in fashion, beauty, fine timepieces, and lifestyle-bringing elevated retail experiences to new and emerging markets.

Today, Valiram operates across 9 countries — Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam — with 600+ stores for 200+ brands, powered by a vibrant team of 6,000+ employees representing 40+ nationalities and ethnicities.
