On 26th July 2023, we had our second awareness talk with World Vision Malaysia at Vroom Café, HQ. The talk, led by Head of Resource Development, Winnie Khor, introduced us to the Chosen program – a one-of-a-kind World Vision child sponsorship initiative which allows the children to be involved in the decision-making process by selecting their adopters.
We had 1 session, which was also live streamed via Teams, where the 40 participants spent time deep diving into the program. The main objectives of the talk were raising awareness and to give the children the power to choose. It is a simple act of reaffirming their dignity and the first step to changing their future.
